A stone’s throw from the Belgium border and a little to the south of Tilburg and Eindhoven, you will find Feather Down Hoeve Brabantse hei. The is home to a herd of over 200 diverse dikbil cattle, with a diversity of breeds such as Belgium Blue, Pietmontese and Blonde d’Aquitaine. Johnny and Inge’s ‘lucky cows’ freely graze for at least 6 months a year and all calves stay with their mothers for at least 5 months.

The tents are next to the farm and look out over cornfields to the edge of the forest, where you can find cycle and walking routes, but also swim and fish or roam free to your hearts content in the Zwartven (blackfen or marshlands).

The farm also makes an excellent base for those who wish to make day trips with attractions such as theme parks the Efteling and Bobbejaanland and Beekse Bergen safari park all within a 30 minute driving distance.

As part of the Feather Down concept, there is no electricity or WiFi in the cosy accommodations. Candles and oil lamps provide a warm light and a rustic wood stove is available for cooking. Each accommodation has quality bedding, an equipped kitchen, a toilet, a dining area and a barbecue. Dogs are allowed in this location.
